About
I’m a software engineer and technical leader with over 14 years of experience. My background mixes hands on development with the startup life, where I took on responsibilities beyond writing code: systems design, product delivery, and helping teams grow. I’ve built backend systems, worked on products driven by data, and guided teams through fast release cycles. Over time that moved me into mentoring, architecture decisions, and making sure engineering lines up with business goals.
For more than ten years I’ve worked remotely with startups in the US, helping them stay focused and move fast. That shaped how I lead today: clarity, autonomy, and execution. I’ve grown alongside founders, product leaders, and engineering teams, from individual contributor to strategic partner.
Right now I’m a Head of Engineering focused on technical leadership, product strategy, and agentic software engineering. My home turf is backend engineering and scaling systems. I mostly work in Python, Ruby, and Rust. I’ve been using and building open source software since 2002, and it’s still how I like to work: build in public, ship small tools, and share what I make, because knowledge should be free and open to everyone.
